Step 1 Place sheet of paper next to the wall. Stand on the paper with your heels against the wall.

Step 2 Mark the end of the longest toe of each foot.

Step 3 Mark the widest point at the left and right side of the ball of your feet.

Brush off mud, wipe with a damp cloth, then feed the leather with balm. Store away from direct heat so the soles hold their shape.
